Holiday Apartments in the Amalfi Coast

Rosa was such an amazing host! She helped us with everything from bus tickets to an airport transfer. Rosa’s charming house was simply magical…the immaculate home was situated on a beautiful mountain top with an unbelievable view of the Amalfi Coast and terraced farms. We walked along the streets amid lemon groves, fragrant basil, and peach trees to the coast. The sunrise from the bedroom window was like nothing I can put into words. Pontone is quiet, old, beautiful, historic, and peaceful. Great food and every amenity needed was located just down the mountain in Atrani. The locals were extremely kind and helpful, and spoke English well. The beach was gorgeous and the shops had food from the local countryside. I want to make a pilgrimage every year back to Rosa’s! My favorite place in Italy so far! You must see this quintessential village yourself to understand its charm.

We stayed at Rosa’s house for almost two weeks and enjoyed every minute of it. Communication with Rosa was fast and easy. We arrived pretty late on a Sunday and Rosa’s mom even picked us up from the bus station (thank you again!). The place itself was spotless and we had some snacks and fresh water waiting for us in the fridge. The apartment is cozy and well equipped. And the view – it is just incredible! The pictures really don’t do it justice. Pontone is a quaint and lovely village, and one can walk down to Amalfi in 20min (the way up takes a bit longer though) or take the SitaBus. We rented a scooter during most of our stay, which is probably the easiest way to get around the different coastal towns. All in all I can say that Rosa is an amazing host and her charming house is a great place to stay when visiting the Amalfi coast!

Wow – what a gorgeous apartment in such a lovely rustic town with incredible views. Our stay here was our favourite of our entire trip across sorrento / Amalfi. The flat was absolutely spotless, with lots of space and great amenities. The view was better than the pictures suggest, I could just sit looking out there all day. Rosa was extremely helpful with answering any questions and helping us get around. We tried both restaurants that were round the corner from the apartment and we had lovely meals to remember at both (san Giovanni was our favourite). I highly recommend visiting Rovello, an absolutely beautiful town with the best view across Amalfi. We hired a scooter for our trip, which in my opinion was by far the best way to get around the windy roads without having to worry about parking. I would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Amalfi.

Charming house with beautiful view.What an amazing find! Rosa’s place was super clean, spacious, and well-appointed with everything we needed for a wonderful 3-night stay near Amalfi. She even left us snacks and treats for breakfast, as well as lemons which we used to make the most delicious lemonade. The apartment is located in Pontone, about a 30-minute walk to Amalfi. We personally loved the hike but it might be too difficult for someone who is not physically fit, as there are many steps. Fortunately, there are several busses that you can take to any of the nearby towns. We particularly loved Pontone (Scala), as it felt very authentic, so for us, the location was actually much better than Amalfi. Stay here if you want to get away from the crowds and experience real Italian life!

Beautiful appartement at a beautiful place. High quality. Nice place for hiking and to explore the Amalfi coast. The coast is very crowdy, the apartment and Pontone are very peaceful and quiet.

Where to begin with this amazing stay! My partner and I visited the Amalfi Coast having planned some of the trip, but not all of the details and Rosa was beyond helpful. From helping with private transfers to and from the train station, to different excursions around the area, to even reading the bus schedule. She truly represents the people of the Amalfi Coast so well: hospitable, kind, generous, and so willing to help! The house was immaculate, the view is absolutely breathtaking, great size place, and amazing location in a small quaint village right above the town of Amalfi. The amenities of the house were so great and it’s so well thought out. We felt just like home and would absolutely come again. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Rosa’s apartment is the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at in Italy! It has everything you could want along with the most stunning view of the Tyrrhenian Sea. The terrace was a great place to enjoy our breakfast while getting some much needed sun. Only a 25min walk to Atrani and Amalfi but if walking isn’t your thing, there is a bus line about 5mins away from the apartment. I also highly recommend checking out Tonino ò beach. They can help you with kayaking, snorkeling or any other beach services that you might want. Ask for Ciro, he is the best! Overall, I have nothing but good things to say about Rosa and Ciro and they made my stay in Amalfi one of the best experiences of my life. I will be back soon for sure!
